Our experience was with Robert Paul Carson Pediatric neurologist .He would often experiment with medications which resulted in other health issues this was brought to his attention. Only for the doctor to ignore Not only was he negligent with the medications, but he had his nurse canceled prior authorizations with insurance once they were approved for future appointments. Came for an appointment drove over 30 mins plus horrible traffic on top of there supposed to being a 30 minute grace period my daughter who recently had a seizure was turned away although less than 30 mins late. She has beckwidth weiderman syndrome and we attend lots of doctors appointments on top of me missing work for them along with taking her to therapy 10x per month so definitely not greatly appreciated and inconsiderate of the doctor she was supposed to be seeing ,but doctors don’t think about that do they?
Horrible staff and the manager couldn't be any more rude. My daughter is just a number to them. There are way more caring pediatric Neurologist in Nashville. This office doesn't care. Plus they only refer out to Vanderbilt when your child needs a referral for something and nobody will call back to schedule.
I had the worst interaction I have ever had with a medical professional with Dr. Boone. This happened several years ago but I never wrote about it because we were at a stressful time in our lives. I’ve thought about it more recently because my other child has an appointment with a different Vandy specialist and I’m nervous due to this experience. This was during Covid regulations and only one parent was allowed in for the appointment. I was 8.5 months pregnant and had severe back pain. My son was extremely delayed and could ... read more
