This place was very nice to my daughter in the sense that they appeared warm & gave her a nice plush toy after bloodwork. However, the doctor did not listen to me & made a lot of assumptions about my child's diet. I was not seen or heard & when I voiced concerns about radiation from X-rays every two weeks, I was told, "If you want us to see your daughter then you need to do everything the doctor tells you to do." If I could give negative stars I would. Vanderbilt is supposed to be the best, but they have REALLY gone downhill. Seems all they care about is money and not the patient or trying to figure out what is going on. Son has been vomiting when he eats for 3 months and no one can tell me anything except low white blood cell count and everything is normal. And to let us know if we need anything further. Been following up with PCP and she wanted us to get back in with GI doctor for further tests and soonest appointment was 6 months ... read more
I have been using their GI for a several years for my daughter. We see Dr Mary Beth Nicholson. She has been a fantastic and I have been very impressed with Vanderbilt when we have gone. And they were wonderful doing my daughter's procedure. We also have utilized Telehealth and that has been a very easy process. Everyone has been great for us and the hospital is clean and we have had exceptional care.
Slow responses from staff getting back to you. Lack of concern for the issue we went there for. Incompetent support staff. No appointments available in time frame. Obviously they don’t have enough doctors for the amount of patients they have. Just want your money for poor care.
