ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience. Dr. Virgin and his staff were rockstars in dealing with our 18mo son's tumor. I could not recommend them highly enough.
We saw Jennifer (NP) today and also once before for my son’s issues, and I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews at all. She was so kind, patient, and thorough with us. She actually listened to everything I had to say about his symptoms and never made me feel rushed or like I was overreacting. There really wasn’t a long wait time, which was such a relief with a toddler, and we were able to get scheduled for his procedure pretty quickly too. My daughter has high ENT needs and our expectations have been exceeded with Vanderbilt and Dr Belcher. We have been very blessed and have been able to be scheduled in a timely manner, and the facilities have always been very clean. Dr Belcher himself sounds like Nate Bargatze! And he is very kind and takes his time with each patient, and even remembers details about our family he certainly is too busy to have time for! Please listen to these reviews before you attempt to contact this place. After waiting six months for a procedure, that’s still three months out, a nurse just told me I should have my child be seen somewhere else if I wanted him to receive care. They will push your appointment as far out as possible so they can smile and laugh while you cry about your baby suffering. I agree with other reviews — getting scheduled was a pain with a lengthy wait. This is unfortunately just how things go with Vanderbilt! But we had a lovely experience today. We were VERY late for our appointment (stuck on interstate with wrecks) and they didn’t make me feel badly about it at all. They were kind when I called to explain why we would be late. We had a good visit with Dr. Phillips and our nurse Madison was incredible with my son. I wish I had taken a moment to fill out a card recommending her work!
