My daughter has high ENT needs and our expectations have been exceeded with Vanderbilt and Dr Belcher. We have been very blessed and have been able to be scheduled in a timely manner, and the facilities have always been very clean. Dr Belcher himself sounds like Nate Bargatze! And he is very kind and takes his time with each patient, and even remembers details about our family he certainly is too busy to have time for! Please listen to these reviews before you attempt to contact this place. After waiting six months for a procedure, that’s still three months out, a nurse just told me I should have my child be seen somewhere else if I wanted him to receive care. They will push your appointment as far out as possible so they can smile and laugh while you cry about your baby suffering. I agree with other reviews — getting scheduled was a pain with a lengthy wait. This is unfortunately just how things go with Vanderbilt! But we had a lovely experience today. We were VERY late for our appointment (stuck on interstate with wrecks) and they didn’t make me feel badly about it at all. They were kind when I called to explain why we would be late. We had a good visit with Dr. Phillips and our nurse Madison was incredible with my son. I wish I had taken a moment to fill out a card recommending her work!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. NOBODY IS PROFESSIONAL. CONTSTRUCTION MAKES IT SO DIFFICULT TO FIND YOUR WAY ANYWHERE AND INSTEAD OF GIVING US ACTUAL DIRECTIONS THEY JUST POINTED AND SAID GO THAT WAY. (Whatever the hell that means!) RECEPTIONIST IS SOOOOO DISRESPECTFUL. She continued to speak to my husband even though I WAS THE ONE HERE FOR THE APPOINTMENT! What others have said: absolutely insane wait times to get seen for an appt. Absolutely insane wait time for a referral after getting said appt. My son’s major surgery has been scheduled for over 2 months, is 6 weeks away, and I got a TEXT saying it was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled for 2 months after the original date. We had no issues with the first ear tube surgery (once we actually got scheduled) but were referred this year for a larger surgery.
