Love this place. Quaint. Nostalgic. Prices are great too. They have meats and cheeses, breads, soup mixes, treats, and also gifts if pottery, kitchen goods, slippers, wooden shoes. Love it!
Living in the South, there aren't stores that carry Dutch goods. While visiting friends in Michigan, I made sure not to leave till I had gotten some Gouda & Leyden cheese, as well as Queen Peppermints and plenty of Almond Paste! The staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly. From here on out, anytime I am in Michigan I will always be stopping by Vander Veen's!

Lovely assortment of Dutch gifts and food. I visited The Netherlands a few years ago and was introduced to some great food which I was able to get here.
This is the best quality cheese around. Life is good with this cheese
Home is where the heart is so is the food. Living in California so ordering from Vanderveens is wonderful.
