Wau.. it took some good 3 hrs to get in country with luggage. First time in my life requested for a working permit while coming for business meetings trip.
Normal priced tim hortons in the US departures terminal!
Tim Hortons at G84 is excellent.
Must go thru immigration and customs if connecting to USA from an international flight. YVR is considered the first port of entry for USA even though it's Canada.. But at least you get a Canada stamp?
The new international taxi loading area sucks. (Jan '14)
20 minutes to check-in, go though security, and get checked by US CBP. Great and speedy work, YVR.
If you don't have your luggage beside you and sleep, security will wake you and think you are homeless.... Mine was stuck between international and domestic waiting for it to open at 6am.
I liked... The bags came too fast... A beautiful airport ...
Finally got to board a plane outdoors without a walkway tunnel!
