best airport on the continent by far.. EXCEPT worst baggage handlers perhaps in the world. average wait for luggage is 30+ minutes. i imagine the baggage handlers strive for YVR to fail. seems so.
The best airport in North America, with no doubt.
There's no restaurant in intl departure area. Unless you're keen on A&W, eat before you go in. Also no booze. There is approximately 1 million sqft of crappy perfume and maple syrup though
Everything moves slowly here. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was in Miami, FL.
Vera's double burger, amazing
Overall a nice airport but if you have a long layover, there's not too much to check out for fun.
Very pleasant venue. Avoid checking bags inbound if you can as bag delivery is mysteriously slow. A Nexus card speeds immigration and customs.
Don't forget to drink a goog cup of hot chocolate at Tim Hortons.
