Lady on the phone was rude and could barely speak English. She was not even answering my question properly let alone listening to what I had to say.
Someone vandalized the Google Map listing for the Northeast Mental Health Centre. It was likely someone dealing with mental health issues. I have nothing but good things to say about the care I am receiving there. I am diagnosed with schizophrenia a serious mental health condition and they are my lifeline.
After sitting on the bus for 40 minutes to get to my appointment the psychiatrist didn't show up. She told my case worker she didn't think it was "worth it" to show up for me. My case worker also told me my autism screening must have been wrong because I could speak and therefore couldn't have autism. My therapist was great but he left. They also did help me get a grant. One star each for the therapist and the OT who organized the grant.
The way they did to my brother (a patient in here) was so disgraceful, disrespectful, and uncommendable. A true Mental health team is a team that is kind, compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. They weren't like that to my brother but rather the doctor acted so condescending and felt exhausted to help us. He deserved a better mental health team than them. Wouldn't recommend this place.
