Highly unprofessional and dismissive staff at Richmond location I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received during my visit to Vancouver Coastal Eye Surgeons' Richmond Office on June 3, 2026, for an 9:00 AM visual field test. The registration clerks at the front desk displayed a very poor and dismissive attitude. Dr. King Chow is an excellent doctor. He carefully checked my eyes and explained everything in great detail, making sure I fully understood each procedure so I felt not too nervous. He is very patient and always welcomes questions to ensure you truly understand your condition and treatment. He was also very gentle and attentive, even when applying eye drops. Staff were very accommodating every time I go for appointment.
I am visiting Dr Kulbir Gill's Richmond office from last few years. I have a very good experience with Dr Kulbir Gill and the front staff is very helpful especially Jelee and Manager at front desk. Thank you.
Please train staff to follow proper procedural and disinfecting protocols. One of them shoved their finger nearly into my eye with an ungloved, unwashed hand after typing away on a keyboard. I couldn’t even go to wash my face since I was told I would be seen soon (that ‘soon’ was an hour later). I grew a large pimple on the direct area they dug their finger into the next day. Disregarding if the acne was from that contact or not, please please please make sure their training is up to date.
