Vancity comes up on the page of no credit check when opening up a bank account. This is not true at all, they require a credit check and more. This bank treated me like a 3rd class citizens. I would not recommend this bank to anyone looking to get ahead in life. Even though it's against the law to get denied anyone a bank account this bank doesn't care.

The one star reviews here seem petty and I have been somewhat frustrated with hours, however thats the hours so ... 🙃 😅 Always have an easy time with vancity and vancity visa customer service. Customer since I was born and mainly the last 10 years. I closed my Scotia bank for these guys 🤪
Fast, friendly, efficient service. Vancity has always been ahead of other financial institutions in so many ways. Just wish they were international!
