We ordered catering for 20 people from them. The quality and quantity was amazing! The highlights were malai kofta, rasam and gulab jamun! Their communication and service were in a timely manner.
Went to Vanakkam for the morning buffet and honestly loved it. Everything we tried was really tasty, and there were so many good options. What I really liked was how quickly they kept refilling everything. The staff were really nice and the service was great throughout.

This is a review not only of the restaurant, which is of course great, but the CATERING, which was simply magnificent. Vanakkam brought an absolute feast down from Portland to Eugene for our wedding. They not only transported a huge buffet, but also did live dose (dosa) and even added a live appetizer station last minute, fearing that the appetizers would be soggy. Came here for their lunch buffet as I was super hungry, and gladly they did offer a wide variety of options! For the curry part, in addition to chicken/goat/fish curries, they also had quite a few vegetarian curries including veg kurma, kadai paneer, channa masala, etc. They also offered complementary bread (naan, dosa, poori, idli), rice (white, tamarind), and biryani (chicken, mushroom).
