Great doctor. Always interested in me as a person and how I am doing. Never dismisses anything that I say and clearly explains her recommendations to me. I am happy to be her patient.

I was grateful to get an appointment so soon due to a new rash on my hand. Unfortunately, Dr. Van Ong began diagnosing me with “dry hands” without taking a glance at my hand, followed by wanting to prescribe me a steroid topical (she didn’t notice that i am already taking a strong steroid topical). Anyways, she did not observe the rash and told me to see dermatology if it did not resolve in 4-5 weeks. Disappointing to say the least.

Punctuality is important. My appointment was scheduled for 4:00 p.m., but the doctor arrived twenty minutes late. Being five or even ten minutes late is understandable, but arriving more than twenty minutes late shows a lack of respect for patients. This visit was at a private clinic, not a public hospital, so punctuality and professionalism should be a priority.
