I am an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse that works in a behavioral health hospital not unlike this one. My review is based solely on a 30-45 second phone experience I had with a nurse at this hospital on 2/23/2026 My family member was admitted here and all I had was the phone number to the hospital. I called and was transferred to Unit 1. I was told that the patients were eating and to please call back in 10 minutes. My experience of mental illness resulted in me being admitted. It's true, this place is only equipped to do the minimum however they do offer 3 meals a day, a psychiatrist, a social worker along with a music, art, and garden time, and AA meetings. They supply single beds, and handout of medication. With that said, it was a good place to rest, get sleep, a respite from the difficulties that result from mental illness.
