Beware they hide under the Van Lines umbrella. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited! While my mother was dying in the hospital they changed the time/date 6 times. Then they finally arrived the day after she passed,I explained to them I would be taking less belongings. The original quote was $1,050 so they increased it $400. The company in the picture is not the company that shows up. These people are under the umbrella Van Lines so that they have plenty of Shadows to hide under. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited.... They gave me a quote of 303 cf for $1,050. When they finally showed up I explained I had less things going and they increase the price almost $400. A friend of mine went with Van Lines USA, so I decided to do the same. The guys were pretty amazing. Ivan was super communicative (even during the wee hours at night) throughout the whole process. Brian came by to do an estimate, and was very nice and thorough about the thing. Also kept on telling me that their goal was to make sure *I* don't have to worry about a thing when they were moving. I just woke up in my new home and just am so happy to have this move completed. I am filling out the customer satisfaction report as requested, because Van Lines USA did a fantastic job. My consulant was very patient and new what he was talking about. The crew was very good and nice as well. They even told me of a really good steak place in town. All in all very good company. My highest regards.
Overall I had a positive experience using Van Lines USA – Jeff and his crew. I would've given them 5 stars overall but went with 4 because we had originally talked about a 2 man crew but due to some scheduling issues, a 3 man crew showed up instead of a 2 man crew. They were on time as promised and did the move well but I was unexpectedly charged $130/hr for a 3 man crew. I was very impressed with the service and the staff overall. I am usually a picky customer, so it's rare that I rate something with a 5 stars :) The crew showed up right on time, they actually brought an additional helper for no extra charge! (I requested to have 2 movers, but 3 showed up, which definitely helped with speeding up the move, and they did not ask for more money, which I thought that was surprisingly nice since I had a certain budget in mind ). Just hired these guys to do my move. I was worried that paying by the hour, the price could easily run up on me, and that I might regret not going with a mover who ofered me a binding estimate. The reason I did not go with the mover that offered me a binding estimate is because I got bad vibes from him...a gut instinct. So, I took my chance and went with Van Lines Usa. Van Lines Usa did a great job! They moved my stuff and I from HollyWood, FL to New York. The whole team was efficient and polite (including putting up with my chatty and "supervisory" dad). All three movers respected our requests on the few boxes marked "fragile" or "do not stack". Every furnishing and dish arrived complete and unscratched.
