Dr. Vallina is an excellent surgeon. Very compassionate about seeing that his patients have a good outcome.Sometimes communication could be clearer. But that is not at the forefront..I'm glad he was my surgeon
DR. VALLINA IS ARROGANT AND DOES NOT LIKE TO ANSWER QUSTIONS. HE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE TELLING YOU 'IT IS NOT AN INFECTION' WHEN IT IS CLEARLY AN ABCESS. IF HE MAKES A MISTAKE DURING SURGERY, HE DOES NOT SEE THE PATIENT THROUGH, EXPECTING OTHER DOCTORS TO 'FIX YOU.' HE IS RUDE TO NURSES AND DOES NOT TAKE THE TIME TO TALK TO HIS PATIENTS.
Dr. Vallina ignores his patients after surgery. He may stop in and say hi but he does not assess his patients. He does not address concerns about symptoms. He does not answer questions and is in a hurry to leave the hospital room stating, 'I have to get to a surgery.' He always had to 'leave to get to a surgery' when we would ask him questions. I had Bariatric Bypass Surgery by Dr. Vanilla about 2010. Total Success. With God using his hands that operation saved my life. He is the best. Oh yes, I have kept almost all the weight off all these years later. Just pay attention to their instructions. It will. I am 68 years old and still alive and very active. Thank you Dr. Vanilla! Dr. Vallina is a kind, friendly and personable surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. After my gallbladder surgery, he spent considerable time with my husband, who remarked that he was the most friendly and kind doctor he's ever met. His manner helps you feel comfortable to discuss your health concerns openly and without judgement. Dr Vallina is an excellent surgeon with a caring bedside manner. I highly recommend him with full confidence in his abilities. He’s performed two surgeries on me and one on my husband with no complications or issues.
Staff doesn't return phone calls
Dr. Vallina showed true care for my every need, including my anxiety and type A personality. He takes time to chat with me when visiting in the hospital, and even tells me about his brother and sister. Most surgeons aren't so personable!
Never in my life have I ben treated with such indifference by a doctor and the staff is worse. I just answer the phones is NEVER something you say to a customer in any business. or voices mail messages that state I'll get back to you in 24-36 hours and never do. No information on insurace came from them I had to do it on my own, and when I found out I was denied, I ask ed what was need. NOTHING was provided by the doctor, or his staff, they got NOTHING. Shame on them for their lack of anyth
