I reached out to Van Horn service department before 12/2022 to get my Jeep Wrangler in for repair work. I was told that they would get me in after the New Year to take pictures & write up a work order for a warranty claim. I got my Jeep in Jan 2023 for pictures. The warranty claim was approved. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This is an absolute atrocity of a business that gives all car salespeople bad names. We purchased a car from the ******** location in October and its been in 4 times for suspicious problems such as a battery all of a sudden going bad when we take it for an oil change, rattling and headlights going on randomly, and now the turbo went out. Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience. We do apologize for the inconvenience that was caused with your vehicle. While the vehicle was in for service, the sales manager did agree to replace the battery and the heating element for the turbo at no cost and a loaner vehicle was provided for the inconvenience. We understand that this vehicle has been traded into another dealership, but if there is anything else we can do to assist here please let us know.
Van Horn Automotive (Grovert Chevrolet) Newhall Iowa was once a great dealership that was very consumer orientated. There main focus was on the customer and did what it took to make them happy. They valued their reputation because they knew how important it is!
