Just received a reply from the BBB on a complaint I filed against Van Fleets in November 2010. The BBB stated " we regret to inform you that we have not received a response from the company". Van Fleets did not even attempt to resolve the issue! Van Fleets did a very poor job of processing my deer. They left the wound area of the deer untouched.... with matted hair and congealed blood that tainted the other meat. The owner of this company is SO RUDE!! I can't believe the lack of integrity this staff and compay has. Yikes!!!
Tried to get some information from them via e-mail and that might have been the biggest mistake of my life. I have never recieved, seen or hears so many F words. Classless organization. F this, F you, F that. Wow, please take an etiquette class.
I've been doing business with these guys for a couple of years now. Every labor day we get a whole hog for our pig roast, every fall we bring turky & deer to him for processing. Decent prices, great meat, and a joy to deal with. There should be more merchants like him. Steve
I have been taking my deer here for years and have always been treated with an small town friendlyness that is becoming harder to find. The prices for processing were resonable and the turn around time is quick from time of drop off to pick up of packaged goods. If you have any questions on a cut or a first timer that does not know what the types of cuts are, the employees are more than willing to explain and help you get what you want.
