I just had a new roof put on my house by VanDerhoof Roofing. They did it shortly after I called them--sent a gentleman to the house to look it over, discussed what was needed, gave an estimate and was working on it within 2 or 3 days. I feel they did a very good job, and they have a very good warranty. Everything was explained to me and all my questions were answered at the time. I was impressed with the dedication of the workers who put the roof on between Dec.1 and Dec.11. They worked some of the time with the temperature in the 30-35F range and snow on the roof. The completed job looks great. I was especially impressed with the cleanup after the work was done. They even removed leaves that had collected near the house in the late fall. We recently had a new roof and gutters installed. There were 3 different crews...the shingle crew, metal roof crew and the gutter crew. All of them were friendly, professional and perfectionists. Red was the head of the gutter crew. We learned at the end of day, that they were working on their day off. All because he had promised to finish up right after the roofers were done. Reasonable estimate. 2 trailers left as out of the way as possible. Timely, professional work. Careful to protect the windows and siding. Very polite. Assiduous workers. Good cleanup.
