I would highly recommend anyone looking to rent at the Van der Rohe to look elsewhere, as the management at this building has proven time and time again to be unprofessional and lacking in common decency. Since moving into the building in April of 2023, my apartment has flooded on three occasions, most recently just last week. I have reached out to building management numerous times to see what can be done to prevent this problem from occurring again and Group Fox doesn't even have the decency to respond. update 20April2025. moved in on 28Nov24. for the price and location and amenities this place is solid. better than the 6 other places i seen within a few blocks. i havent noticed any cockroaches or other pests. the laundry works well, and maintenance is pretty fast to fix machines as they go down. the controlled heat in the building i have noticed is on the lower side of 70-69. the bedroom stays warmer than the living area because of the heated floors, ive been cracking the window at night to cool it off(i run hot). applianc... read more
