A personal favorite of mine. They are a great upscale option for Wausau. I've been a regular for years and always recommended it to friends. An elevated farm to table vibe with hearty recipes. Always yummy and the staff are fantastic. While it's not always perfect, they are quick to fix any issues.
Great atmosphere and service. Definitely one of the more upscale places in the area. Food was good but not great. Maybe I got the wrong things, duck was very tough and lacked flavor

Carley at Van Acre deserves every bit of 5 stars and then some. She was professional, kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish.
