We have had absolutely wonderful care at Bay Pines VA hospital since last June when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. He is cancer free but the treatment caused several set backs We have confidence in the staff of this hospital. We are particularly grateful for Dr. Rudi Dumis, Dr. Hayes ,Dr. Wang, and Dr. Lee.
I’m an Iraq combat vet. I called to make an appointment and they advised me that it would be months before I could be seen, keep in mind I’m not a new patient. The representative suggested I come in to their walk in clinic, which is the exact same clinic and the primary care and the same docs. So I go the following day and there I am with 5 other vets in a large waiting room suitable for about 50 people. I’ve always had a very pleasant experience at the Bay Pines Healthcare system. My primary care provider is awesome as are all my specialty care providers as well. I know the VA gets a bad rap with most facilities but I stand behind this particular hospital completely. Two thumbs up in my book.
