Went to valvoline 8/7 to get an oil change. Now im having a bad oil leak in my drive way. Did not have this issue before i got my oil changed here. Called a mechanic to come and check it out , he stated that they placed an incorrect filter on and thats the reason for thr leakage. Call customer care just for them to tell me it will take 48 hours for someone to reach back out to me. Mind you my car not drive able at the moment per the mechanic. I went in to Valvoline expecting a simple, one-hour service — just a regular oil change and a transmission fluid change. While the standard oil change went smoothly, what happened with the transmission service was completely unacceptable. First, the techs didn’t seem to know where the transmission plug was. I watched them spend way too long trying to figure it out, which already had me questioning their experience. I was in and out in under 22 min. The tech, Payton, was beating himself up about the service taking too long, which I thought was crazy. Every other experience I have had getting my oil changed was like an all day waiting game, in this Tx heat, and then to be upsold over and over again. I was greeted promptly, was serviced immediately and the team of people working there were not only professional and efficient but friendly as well. This should be negative star. I'm sitting here for a state inspection for over an hour now and there's so much wrong with this place. 1). No place to wait. Sitting in my car for over an hour now and stuck in line to get service. 2) too much down time. I'm seeing employee having too much chattering and working on multiple vehicles at a time. Nothing is going to get done multitasking. Never again!!!! This will be my first and last visit.
