I wish I read the reviews prior to ever using Valvoline. I reside in Lincoln City Oregon, I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze in for an oil change at 1205 SE HWY 101 lincoln city, OR on a Sunday at 4:20pm. By 10:00am Monday morning my car is spelling awful smell, I called thinking something must be wrong. The lady rep stated at times they spell oil when changing it on the engine and it gives off a bad strong smell. She said bring it in and their shop would take a look at it. Pulled up to the building in front of bay 1, got out of my car and asked one of the workers how they were doing. He walked by me like I wasn't even standing there. As he looked at my car (low to the ground) the manager of the shop told me they're not responsible for any damage. Didn't greet me. Got an instant attitude, just like the worker gave me. Nick the manager and he's staff julio and dondrey are amazing 12 min oil changed stopped by after picking up my kids from school julio let to boys know to give him a few mins and took he's time to explain what they were doing like if they were getting the service done....he let dondrey know they were kids on board and it was like a new level unlocked ..extremely worth the experience family oriented u can tell they have kids ...like I said 12 mins wow ....my boys love it.....will be back with out a second thought...

I AM BEGGING YOU FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AVOID VALVOLINE AT ALL COSTS!!! After an oil change at Charlotte South End, at 2401 South Boulevard, NC 28203 my car broke down on the highway shortly after and the engine started smoking. I then tried to handle this issue through the company, and it has so far been unsuccessful. After my car broke down, I had to both pay to get my car towed home and pay for a mechanic to come to find the issue. Very dishonorable company. I had my car's oil changed at Valvoline. My car died in the middle of the road a mile away. I took it to my mechanic who determined it was missing an integral piece related to the oil filter. This was replaced and the car has been fine since. This cost me $405. I've contacted the store manager Patrick who says that the car showed up without the piece. I explained that the car will not run correctly without it and also asked if it did not have the piece upon arrival, why was I not notified? I've con... read more

Very unorganized, a 15 minute oil change took 50 minutes. The technician walked like he didn't want to be there. The other technicians called him over to help them That made three working on a vehicle. He just left what he was doing to my car for 15 minutes to help them

My oil change and replacement of a marker light bulb took 55 minutes. I had agreed to have front and rear differential fluid replaced but then was told that my SUV was front wheel drive and only had one differential. My SUV is AWD and after I insisted on this they said the mechanic was looking right at it and it was FWD. I again insisted and then I was told that is was "a different kind" of AWD and only had one differential.
