The Valvoline on North High St In Columbus broke my car. It barely made it home and had to be towed the next day to a repair shop. Upon inspection they had removed the air filter and installed it in backwards after asking if I wanted it replaced. With installing it backwards dirt was sucked into the MAF sensor causing its failure. Also the new oil filter was leaking and drain plug on finger tight. They have refused to contact me and pay for the very expensive bill. The regional supervisor has not made contact in over a week ... read more
BEWARE!! If I could give zero stars I would but it won't allow me too. My 18 year old son had he's oil changed and Valvoline failed to put the cap back on the reservoir for the coolant. My son's car over heated not to long after leaving Valvoline. I contacted them to notify them of the situation. Since then we were having trouble car always needing coolant and what not. this place route 59 Nyack Valvoline oil change, costumer service very disappoint,all new people working, maybe sold,I do oil change my 3 cars for about 2 years,every body was nice, on girl was the best(not loser there)they forget to refill my van Freon tank and the van overheated, and the radiator vas damage,(the same day went do Midas next door)I ask if they check the fluid, they say yes, but for my Van was never refill, and because of they mistake cost me $700....they loose another costumer,,watch out you can be next vict... read more
Terrible customer service. Technician had no idea what grade oil I was requesting and said he was to busy to check or ask someone else.
Do not take your car here. They cracked my daughters oil pan and refused to fix it. The are the worst. They don't see the damages they cause. You might not fix this one, but there will be some you will have to fix. I lost money, and you all will too. Reap....
The first time I went to Valvoline in Poughkeepsie was for an oil change. I requested that they change the oil while I was sitting in the car and use a synthetic blend. When it was time to pay , I was told that I had to pay for full synthetic. If you know about oil changes that cost is a $40 difference. Three months later I went back to the same location, requested the blend again, but this time they got it right. My complaint claim has been denied, this is my letter to corporate. Sean (name on title) Cheri (wife) She brought our Explorer in for the oil change and filed the claim. I wish to handle the correspondence moving forward. Cheri brought our 2012 Explorer to the Kinston location in August. The oil pan bolt was crosthreaded by the tech and leaked.
