I want to share my extremely disappointing experience after bringing my 2019 Toyota Camry to your shop for service. Following the visit, I began experiencing serious transmission issues. Being an older woman and no knowledge of car maintenance except to depend on the person doing it is trust worthy, I was totally impressed with Valvoline, Sebastian, at this station. He was informative, very polite, and trust worthy going thru the process of my oil change. One of the other gentleman, didn't get his name, also explained to me what my sensor light (was on continuously) was and why I needed to have it checked out and even suggested O'reilly's for that! The Valvoline on North High St In Columbus broke my car. It barely made it home and had to be towed the next day to a repair shop. Upon inspection they had removed the air filter and installed it in backwards after asking if I wanted it replaced. With installing it backwards dirt was sucked into the MAF sensor causing its failure. Also the new oil filter was leaking and drain plug on finger tight. They have refused to contact me and pay for the very expensive bill. The regional supervisor has not made contact in over a week ... read more
I have been going there for year always friendly and explaining everything they do although just there yesterday and it was taking them a long time and I asked what is the problem and the assistance manager said we can't get the oil plug out and he said you will have to take it to a shop next oil change to get it out and I said is it leaking and he said No when I got home and checked it the plug was leaking so I get a new plug and oil and fix it myself! UNFORTUNATELY my daughter thought this would be a good place to take her car to get her oil changed. They stripped her oil pan, it is now leaking ALL OVER THE DRIVEWAY. Their response was, well your car has a lot of miles so that's why this happened. It's not our fault. You should have it looked at. I went through their process and filed a claim. BEWARE!! If I could give zero stars I would but it won't allow me too. My 18 year old son had he's oil changed and Valvoline failed to put the cap back on the reservoir for the coolant. My son's car over heated not to long after leaving Valvoline. I contacted them to notify them of the situation. Since then we were having trouble car always needing coolant and what not.
