This morning fear tactics were used in a blatant attempt to sway us into spending more money. We were actually told “our warranty would be voided by Chrysler” if we used a blended synthetic rather than a full synthetic (at about$30 more). We immediately called our dealer who assured us this was false. While they do recommend a full synthetic they would NEVER deny warranty work if a blend had been used (another claim made by valvoline manager).
