Went for a NYS inspection at their Latham location. The inspection “failed for pass front lower control arm”. However, there was no offer or suggestion to fix it, but the NYS inspection sticker was already removed, and I then had to drive my vehicle off lot with a safety hazard as well as the potential for getting a ticket. I can only assume this is because Valvoline cannot make these fixes. If so, then they should not be offering inspections on the chance that they end up putting someone in a potentially hazardous situation... read more
Service workers were very friendly and accommodating. Very knowledgeable and informative.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
Inspection was inaccurate. Went in to get a state inspection and they failed me due to a “bad control arm”. Took it to a local mechanic who saw no issues and basically said they didn’t know what they were doing.
Always so helpful ! Stopped in 20 mins before closing with a headlight out . They definitely still helped me so I could be safe the rest of the evening.
