RecommendedValley Vet treated our dog when no one else would take the time of day to give us an appointment! Having just moved to the area my daughter's service dog needed emergency care 2 days after our arrival at our new house. He had a fever of 106 and an infection that had swollen his face up so much that he was having trouble breathing. I can not say enough about Dr Shanahan and her entire staff! They have always made me feel like my babies are the most important pets they have had. They are patient, compassionate and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them for all of your fur babies!
When the unfortunate time came to put my 13.5 year old dog down, all the staff were very professional and companionate. His ashes were returned to me in a timely fashion with care and dignity. A week or two after the appointment, I received a very nice condolence card, signed by all the staff. They truly made a difficult situation easier. I can't praise them enough. Shout out to Julie Shanahan for run a great business with great staff!

I LOVE Valley Vet! They take care of the feral cats that Animal DREAMS helps. They’ve done everything from routine spay/neuter to emergency broken legs, infections, sick kittens...you name it, they’ve gone above and beyond to help all the community cats we bring them. Incredible my wonderful team of doctors, techs and office staff. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital to any and everyone! If this was a star rating, they’d easily get FIVE from us! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I've brought several wildlife orphans to Dr. Shanahan and she has been terrific with all of them! She responds immediately and takes good care of all the animals. I'm beyond grateful to have her nearby!!!
Dr. Shanahan and Valley Vet are wonderful! We have been with them for years. They are beyond caring and knowledgeable. They listen to our concerns and questions without judgement and we trust them completely with all our pets.
I'm a little biased because Dr. Shanahan is my sister, but regardless, I truly do not know anyone more dedicated to her furry patients, and caring to all, big and small. There is never even a hint of a complaint when that emergency comes in after a 14 hours day, and personal plans are canceled ! She loves what she does , and we all benefit from that passion!
Dr Shanahan is extremely knowledgeable, honest, supportive, compassionate, thorough and patient, as is her staff! They are all wonderful! We have entrusted them to care for our two kittys for the past 14 years
