The care and consideration of not only the therapists at Wilshire Valley Therapy but also the Administration Team who go above and beyond to find the best match for new patients. If you don't find a match right away they will take time assist you with finding the best fit for your issues. Highly recommend them and they accept most insurances and medi- cal which is great.
Amalia Rinkenberger LMFT - one session only in July. Here's why: she was late to our session, 6:02 - but she had to get her files together and find me. This should have been done and sge should have been ready to go at 6pm. I took the bus so there was no time to wash my hands (but I had to), then I'm pouring out intimate details of trauma AND SHE TOOK A PHONE CALL!!! and was in no rush to end it. Her excuse? I didn't know what to expect when I first reached out, just that I needed someone to talk to. From the first phone call I felt like I was not alone anymore. People here never rushed me ( I took my time finding the right therapist). My therapist met me where I was - no pressure, just support. Over time .It became a space where I could breathe, reflect, and actually start to feel like my self again. It was not perfect or instant, but it felt safe. And that made all the difference.
