I have been living here for 1.5 years, and I cannot wait for my lease to end. Do not let the "nice" front office staff fool you—it is a complete trap. The maintenance here is nonexistent. Every single time you submit a request for anything, it takes a minimum of 4 weeks for anyone to even show up. Right now, my washer and dryer are completely broken and useless. I would not recommend living at Valley Stream Village Apartments. While the apartments themselves are nice, my experience with maintenance and management has been extremely disappointing. I’ve dealt with repeated HVAC issues, including long periods without adequate heat or air conditioning, and several maintenance requests were marked as completed even though the problems were never fixed. Latoya is one of a kind. Very honest. True to her job and treats people how she wants to be treated. Maintenance is wonderful.
