Today was my first time coming here with a kitten we found in our back yard and got him neutered, the two ladies at the front desk were so nice and friendly and so helpful for my first time being there. I really appreciate their help and patience with me. I would definitely recommend this place.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Valley Pet Care. I brought in two dogs on separate appointments to be spayed and paid deposits for both. For the first dog, I was called right before surgery and told her heart rate was a concern and they would not proceed unless I paid for additional testing or signed a high-risk waiver. I want to share my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. I scheduled surgeries for my dogs with Valley Pet and paid deposits in advance. In both cases, I was contacted shortly before the procedures and told there were new concerns that prevented them from moving forward. The surgeries were canceled, but the deposits were kept.What concerned me most is that I later received other opinions indicating my dogs were healthy enough for surgery. Valley Pet is dishonest and I would never recommend them to anyone. I was overcharged and flat out lied to. Twice I brought my dogs in for scheduled procedures and both times, right before surgery, they suddenly claimed there was something wrong with my pets. Then they canceled the procedures and kept my deposits. After getting other opinions, I was told my dogs were fine.
