About this business

Fiery red sandstone glazed with corrugations forms the nucleus of this park which is a picturesque desert wonder. Having been a Nevada landmark since the 1930s, this state park is a startlingly insightful subject on geology, history as well as archaeology. Standing strong through hundreds of years, the park can safely be called a canvas of textured waves of red water frozen in time. Riddled with sweeping canyons and rock art which dates as far back to as 2000 years, the state park has been a shelter of the indigenous and old... read more

Every time I go to Las Vegas - I try to make it a point to see this place. Once you turn that 1 corner & you see it (VoF) you go WoW! 1 of LV's natural treasures!

This place is gorgeous! Take a day off the strip and go see it. Photos don't do it justice. It must be experienced.

I went to Valley of Fire on a suggestion from someone I met at Red Rock Canyon and I was simply blown away at the beauty of this national treasure. I wish I had started at this park as I had just hiked turtle head in the canyon and only had until the next morning before my trip had to end. I had about 3 hours of daylight left when I got to Valley of Fire and if I could have cancelled my return home I would just to explore more of this phenomenal park. It's first on my list next time I make it back to Nevada.

What a wonderful place to go to, you can see the different layers of rock, showing different eras. Great place for family hiking and great time, Something different from Vegas. This was my third time there, and hope to comeback again more times.
