Should be a zero. The office closed down and sneaked out with zero notice to patients. I'm pretty sure this violates Texas law which requires a physician to give notice. As of this afternoon, no one is there to help get records transferred. I faxed and hand-delivered (slipped under the door) a formal transfer of records request, but I am not very optimistic. This company is a real POS.
I am not having a good experience with Dr. Mona Eltiar so far. My main concern is receiving the correct medication for my condition, asthma. I feel that I am being dismissed as a patient. I believe she prescribes medication based on her preferences rather than what I require. She urged me to get lab tests done, so I went without hesitation. I completed the testing and went to receive the medication required. CVS notifies me that I will be receiving an alternative prescription to what I have previously been prescribed. Dr. Mona Eltiar was very helpful and listened to all my concerns. She really cares about her patients. Excellent care, I highly recommend this clinic! Good calm environment.
Was a patient of Dr. Johnson’s for 20 yrs. Since valley oaks medical grp took over it has been just plain bad. Every time I’ve had to go there since they changed it has been bad, with the exception of one front desk girl who is very helpful and actually seems to care, don’t remember her name. Other than that, the front desk couldn’t care less about you. They seem put out that you even called.
Edit-As of 4-27-2023…..Mimi is a one-person show at this office! She gets 5 stars and Valley Oaks needs to give her a raise since she is doing the work of 4 people.
