I stopped spiraling after over a month, since my last contact with Valley Oaks. I struggle mentally and regress to cope with a lifetime of trauma, and I have neurological episodes where I need to self-isolate or go mute. I have Autism, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, cPTSD, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Dysthymia. I’m unsure why this is a walk in crisis option for people in crisis. They put you with a therapist who does a simple intake and then tells you it will be at least 4 months before you can get in for ANY SORT OF TREATMENT!? What is the point of this place? Waste of time and I will hold them accountable if my husbands mental health destabilizes due to their lack of help when it is so desperately needed…
In my recent experience counselors are friendly, take concerns into consideration, they have been helpful with recomendations and referrals and scheduling ahead has been easier with the attentive staff ive dealt with
