Terrible experience at MFM, which such a shame because valley medical OBGYN across the hall are great but work only with Valley MFM. I saw Dr. Gomez for my NIPT blood testing, and it was like speaking to a robot on autopilot. He failed to explain the full genetic testing options and their risks. He rushed through the appointment, and we probably only spoke for 90 seconds max. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Valley. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment. When I checked in, the front desk did not mention any issue with my appointment time or tell me that it had been changed. There weren’t many patients waiting when I arrived, but four women came in after me and were all called back before I was. We visited Valley MFM in Paramus today for a first-trimester screening — NT scan, genetic counseling, and NIPT. Sujatha Lingala performed the ultrasound and Dr. Hunter Gomez-Roberts reviewed and signed the report. The scan was thorough, unhurried, and every measurement was explained clearly. I would like to share a 5-star experience with Valley Maternal Fetal Medicine after two very memorable appointments during my first pregnancy as a first-time mom. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming during both visits, which immediately helped put us at ease.
