I went to Urgent Care on 6/7/2026 because I woke up with a new bump on the wrist of my left hand, which is the same hand I have a prior injury in. My primary care provider and I were already in the process of getting imaging ordered for this hand, but before that could happen, this bump appeared overnight along with pain, numbness, and symptoms radiating up my arm and into my fingers. I had to find a new PCP, and with a little research, I chose Dr Cheryl Mallory, at St. Joseph's 8th Street location. When I arrived on the date and time set for my initial appointment, I was pleasantly impressed with Dr Mallory! She was attentive, listening to my concerns, and very knowledgeable when it came to her prognosis. I didn't feel rushed, even though they were obviously booked full,(It took 4 weeks to get scheduled for this first appointment).
