0 stars. The receptionists are rude, and act like you’re a bother to them. The doctor I saw had no helpful advice and tried to gaslight me with my concerns instead of trying to understand my history and why I am concerned. Had one initial visit for primary care and when my insurance reached out to them, they denied I was being seen for primary care reasons. They insisted I pay them out of pocket an absurd amount. I have been suffering from seasonal allergies for as long as I have lived in Eugene. I've tried rotating allergy medicines, eating local honey, acupuncture, and nothing seemed to work (except leaving Oregon!). Ahead of 2025 allergy season Dr. Alloway came up with a plan that worked better than anything I've ever done. Best allergy season in 30+ years. Will be heading into 2026 allergy season with confidence. Thanks Dr. Alloway and team!
I've had excellent care from Dr. Taguba and the rest of the the team since I started coming here, especially when I developed a serious health problem. They are persistent in referring you to the right place, and you can get blood work done right down the hall. Every time I go in there it's a calm environment where I know I'll leave better than I came, and they are diligent in sending messages with updates through their secure portal. This is a great practice and I'm so glad I found myself here.
I have been a patient at Valley Med for about fifteen years (they used to be located on Hilyard Street and then known as "South Hilyard Clinic"), and I am grateful to have them as my PCP. Dr. Alloway is the best physician I have worked with and one of the most caring people I know. She has helped me through some significant health issues and continues to be a strong and consistent advocate for my wellbeing. I would highly recommend this office (and especially Dr. Alloway) for anyone looking for a physician.
