I am so hurt in how I was treated by the owner Brittany and a few of her nurses. I was there about 2 years before they moved to this new fancy building. I was never late, always respectful and I was treated with no compassion or care. Every time I went in I was looked down on because I was overweight and on ohp. I literally lost weight “on my own” and diagnosed myself from major autoimmunity issues and iron deficiencies. I was terribly ill and pleaded for help in each visit. After months and months of trying to find a new pcp with no help from OMG or Peacehealth. I finally found Valley Med and they are awesome. Everyone there is super friendly and make you feel very comfortable and welcome. I am very happy I found Valley Med. Highly recommend
I had made my new patient appointment OVER A YEAR AGO!! I heard amazing things about their providers but I’m just very frustrated at the fact that they call me the DAY OF the appointment to notify me that they do not accept my insurance. They had already confirmed all my information and my appointment the day before and wasn’t notify about them not accepting my insurance at that time. It is very hard to get in to see a pcp and this just made it worse.
Laurel Merz is a fantastic PCP. They listen respectfully, are current on the most up to date understanding of disorders, illnesses, conditions and their treatment approaches. She is her authentic self with a great sense of humor, and is very personable. No shame, no guilt, no judgement. Just a caring, highly skilled and knowledgeable provider that allows you to be a flawed human that is doing their best.
Valley Med provides excellent and professional care. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and make me feel comfortable throughout my visits. Highly recommended, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
