When my job status changed and my 2nd job came to an end (fuel prices made the long commute too costly) I needed to get back onto health insurance as my adult disabled son's personal support worker. The nearest appointment was in October which would have made coverage start in November. I have been working with this group of individuals for many years thru my union. They have helped me with my medical insurance needs and the Marketplace credits each year. They educate me as to what I can do to keep things in track throughout the year. Always give them a call if you have any income changes. It will save you thousands of dollars come tax time.
