Although I only had one appointment at The Valley House, it was truly the best medical experience I’ve had during my pregnancy. I was referred there to further investigate a concern that had been identified during previous ultrasounds. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff, nurse practitioners, and especially Dr. Noa Gilad were incredibly warm and welcoming. I wanted to thank Dr. Menzies for being the best MFM doctor I could have asked for. I had an emergency cerclage at 20 weeks in 2023 which held up for almost 11 weeks that I know helped my baby so much. She is now two and thriving, no issues at all. My cervix was not doing great and Dr. Menzies recommended a stay at Mt. Sinai in case I delivered early. Appreciation for the OBGYN . Thankyou Dr. Cohen for taking my preliminary symptoms seriously & diagnosing my cholestaisis before the labs really did. Dr. Litwin was so informative & attentive during my third trimester’s US & listened to my concerns attentively. Special thanks to Dr, Gilad , I will never forget her . I checked in at noon, had my ultrasound at 1pm, and waited until 5pm to see the OB, for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes. With at least 35 patients at Valley House this afternoon i can't believe that only 1 OB was on duty. Wait time is incredibly frustrating. The front desk middle-aged lady never seems happy and makes the experience worse.
Wait time are minimum 3 hours. The doctors treat you like a number - as you end up seeing someone difference each time and also they just go by the standard procedure without looking at your situation as a whole. If you are over a certain age and even if you are fully healthy they will recommend certain medication just because you are over the age without considering you don’t have those types of conditions.
