Get directionsIf you are planning to give birth at the Valley hospital, all I can wish for you is good luck....you are definitely going to be ripped off by the Valley mafia! My wife gave birth in the Valley Hospital in March 2020. This is far the worst hospital you can choose to bring a new life in this world. The hospital nurses are extremely good and very professional, however, almost every doctor associated with this hospital is there to make profit as much as they can. The valley hospital is like a mafia as they will ask you about you... read more
Do not send a loved one here. I went strictly for detox. Not suicidal or homicidal. I was stripped searched. Totally unexpected and from that point forward was uncomfortable w/ this place. I spent 4 days there. I was then sent to an actual hospital bc they thought I had Covid, I didn't. I could not keep anything down, lost 10 pounds and my BP average was 175/125. My 1st day detoxing felt like precipitated w/d. 20 hrs of my legs and arms restless and non stop puking. The floor sup, Deanna was rude and should be a prison guard... read more
great food, therapy options, and nurses who truly care
Patients should get outside time,so they don't get more depressed.I loved Dr. V.He treated me great.
Day staff Good.Evening staff treated patients terribly. Really bad communication throughout hospital.I was promised a counselor,I never saw one.Doctors were only available if you could catch them in the hallway. They wouldn't let you sleep even if you were detoxing. It felt more like jail than getting detox that I was promised/needed.Food-okay,they would serve you a steak/pork chop with no knife. Very difficult to eat.Feed something that we could eat with just a fork or a spoon. It made you feel more inadequate, like a savage. Y... read more
NICOLLETTE IS A BIG PRETENDER.SHE NEEDS TO BRING NEW MATERIAL TO THE CLASSES. GREGG NEEDS TO BE EARLY IN PICKING UP THE PATIENTS , TAKE THE SHORT CUT INSTEAD OF THE LONG CUT. JIM THE SUPPOSEDLY TRANSPORT MANAGER JUST SITS IN THE OFFICE ALL DAY STUFFING HIS FACE WITH FOOD. EJ
Let's start off with all of the privacy violations, speaking in hallways, group rooms, the nurses station and meds dispensed right in front of other patients. The food is nothing but white carbs and a ton of sugar. I wasn't on any new meds and was refusing pain meds for my arthritis until it got so bad that I asked for a wheelchair and was refused. So I started taking motrin every 4 hours just to take the edge off until I could get home to my holistic meds. Also, waking people up by screaming "VITALS" down the hallway at 6:1... read more
I'm sure it's very difficult to make everyone happy given the type of hospital this is. I know its really easy to bash a place when you are off your medications, or didn't receive the narcotics you were looking for (referring to some of the reviews I've read). I can say first hand that I witnessed unreal quality of care at Valley Hospital. The hospital is very clean, the techs are fabulous although I didn't have any experience with the overnight techs as I was sleeping. The nurses were very attentive and made me feel comfort... read more
