My mother was brought into the ER by ambulance. Let me start off by saying if you don’t have compassion do not work in the medical field. My mother is 60 years old and has had some ongoing health issues. The way you people at Winchester Medical talk to and treat patients is completely disgusting. How dare you talk to my mother as if she’s beneath you. I would never recommend this hospital!
I had a really good experience in 4 Northeast during my stay after a spinal injury. It wasn’t an easy time, but the care I received made a big difference. Everyone—doctors, nurses, and staff—was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and respected, and I never felt hesitant to ask questions. Screwed up with putting my insurance in and refused or failed to help fix it when i called them 5 separate times to give them the information to do so and was told the first two times it had been fixed, but actually hadn’t been. My ER bill is only supposed to be $100 with insurance, but as they’ve been refusing to fix it, they want me to pay a bill for over $3000.
The attitude get get from the people answering the phones is shocking. Straight from the beginning of the call the lady answering the phones acted like i was her enemy and like she hated her job with a passion. They need to train these people in customer service.
The absolute work care in the Emergency Department. My son has been AFib with a heart of over 150 beats and we have been in the waiting room over 4 hrs. While they took back a person with a probable sprain ankle and people with stomach bugs. Where is the triage importance I really hope you guys fix this because someone else's kid could possibly die from the lack of triage and treatment.
