I was requested to call about one of our previous tenants to give a recommendation. Upon calling I was put on hold, except, I wasnt on hold. I listened as the manager berated a tenant who spoke very clear english but was obviously not an American. The woman was trying to explain she had a child, she isnt like that its cold out, etc. At which the Manager said, "I cant understand you, what are you saying, speak clearly." As of right now, I have very little to fuss about. My wife and daughter and I moved in in October. The apartment was in good condition, It is a 2 bedroom apartment and is very roomy. The neighbors are friendly and its within walking distance of pretty much any basic thing that you need..food, meds, supplies. Its right next door to a hospital, within 5 or 10 minutes driving distance of everything. Schools, Colleges, Restaurants, stores, Wal-Mart. DO NOT RENT!!!!I am the PERFECT tenant. I pay my rent on time, cleanly, keep to myself and thoroughly follow all protocol procedures when moving out. I have never had a problem renting, until I lived at Valley Green Apt.DO NOT RENT!!!!My apartment was disgusting when I first moved in. It was filthy and much of the unit was broken. Then, when it came to move out, the landlord "did not receive" my written notice, therefore made me stay two extra months. We had numerous problems with the place. Holes in doors and walls that were supposed to be fixed before we moved in. Maintenance men coming in unannounced without appointment, and sometimes just because it was at the wrong apartment (regardless of what you were dressed in). Dishwasher never worked, despite them coming to fix it 3 times. Water in the bathroom sink never got cold, and was problems with the heat/cold of the water all the time.
