I have NEVER been treated so bad as I was during a recent shoping trip to Valley Dept. Store in Ontario CA. I had to ask 2 times for help and was told by the "sales rep?" that she was already helping someone , When we finally did get help it was from an older tall black lady (not that it mattered I only say this to identfy her , that thought she was funny) when I ask her why were the prices so high, she said" if I don't like the prices I should have my husband lose some weight so I didn't have to shop there" .and then laughe... read more
Terrible company policies. I wanted to exchange an item with a receipt and the tags for the clothing, and they said that it could not be exchanged because the tags were not still attached to the clothing and they could not sell them again as new clothes. This policy was not reflected anywhere on a receipt nor on any paperwork. Upon going to the store to exchange the clothes, I noticed a tiny little sign that very vaguely stated this policy in very small print. Valley Dept. Store This is a department store for men who wear large or tall sizes. The first floor is uniforms. Downstairs there is a wide selection of very nice name brand dress shirts, slacks, suits and a wide assortment of sport clothing. They are very helpful and have either a seamstress or tailor on the premises who can hem or taken in an article of clothing in no time. This is where I come for hubby's clothes.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful service, great selection and caring staff at Valley Department Store in Ontario, CA. I found them on the Internet. I needed to find a casual outfit for my elderly father who cannot shop (due to illness) to wear to a family wedding. need a uniform i came here to get a uniform and got treated with great service. all i did was tell them my sizes and i was catered to like a rich man. they also carry a lot of drees and casual pants and jeans and with jackets and suits for just about anything and the prices are low enough to not break you wallet.
