I am writing to formally document serious concerns regarding my recent inpatient stay at Valley Behavioral Health following a medical crisis caused by adverse drug interactions. While I am grateful for the detox process, my overall experience reflects a need for urgent audit and reform. I was admitted in neurological distress due to complex conditions including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, gastroparesis, and autism. Absolutely hated this place. This place also had 140 reviews not even a month ago. 107 being 1 star. Steer clear from this place. It's horrible and everything everyone says is true. I swear. They ignore you, don't care. Only few actually do. More damaging for your mental health here. Oh, and I got released April 21st. I didn't get all my stuff back. Our son has homicidial idiations and said to us on the phone while on the unit that he wanted to kill himself but the nurse "didn't hear him" so it didn't count for his medical records. for a whole 36 hours he stopped saying outloud he was going to kill his entire family and stopped talking about the voices who wanted to take over his body. This was enough for them to say he was stable enough and send him home to the family he wants to kill. I can say place wasn't clean. But they got my son much help with infection,just slow,but if you're bad off and need him. I'm Thankful them!
