Used Valley Appliance before. Always fast, efficient and fair. David was knowledgable and pleasant. When I first called about the spin cycle not working on my washing machine he gave me some tips to try and fix it myself. Tried but didn't work. Only then did he say he can come over and take a look for $35 call charge. Appreciated the gesture to avoid the call charge. He found the problem. Charged $120 to replace part. He waived the call charge. I was satisfied.
They said it was $25 to see what was wrong with my refrigerator. They said it needed a new thermostat for $140.00 parts and installation. It took them 15 minutes to install what I later found was a $10 part. I called and said, "You charged me $140.00 for a ten dollar part that took 15 minutes to install. Does that sound right?"
