I have been seeing Valerie and some of her coworkers at the Alpharetta facility for over a year now since I was pregnant with my son (he is now 6 months old). She even delivered my son! Valerie has always been completely open and honest with both myself and my husband anytime we have had questions. I'm really surprised by the few other reviews of Valerie Ochs. In my experience, Ochs has been nothing short of amazing. I had multiple visits with her while pregnant with my second child and she fully supported my birth plan for a natural delivery (which *was* thankfully a natural delivery following an epidural and vacuum-assisted delivery with my first child). She never batted an eye about breastfeeding during an appt when it was necessary to bring kids with me to follow up appts. I've continued, over the years, to select ... read more

I have loved seeing Valerie for both of my pregnancies. She is thoughtful, caring and incredibly thorough. She is attentive during visits and responds to messages in a timely manner. I was lucky enough to see her my entire first pregnancy and also have her deliver my son. It was a no brainer when I became pregnant again that she would be my provider. 10/10.

Valerie Ochs is the absolute best midwife. She is so compassionate and really listens to what you want for your pregnancy and delivery. I have even followed her from the Kennesaw office to Alpharetta, there is no comparison to the care you will receive from her, and still feel like a human, not an inconvenience.

Edit: Dropping to a 2 star rating. She is the first medical professional to tell me to see an actual doctor because she doesn't feel comfortable removing my IUD. It's a pretty simple procedure and it's still in place according to the ultrasound. I did have a small tift with her nurse last time because I scheduled on the app to have my IUD removed and a pap smear. Then her nurse was pretty cranky to me saying that I scheduled the wrong type of appointment and how I would throw off their entire schedule if they did that. I exp... read more
