Tasty thin crust pizza – Yummy greasy cheesy thin crust pizza served here--not a lot of sauce--just how I like it! Sometimes the pizza is not the freshest if you get it by the slice, though. Sicilian thick crust pizza is also delicious. The restaurant is not the most comfortable to dine in but it's bearable. Also have yummy italian ice and great big sandwiches! These subs are the best--overflowing with meat, lettuce, veggies and cheese on soft white bread.
Best New York Style Pizza.......PERIOD! – Stopped in the other day and was fortunate to meet ownership. Boy am I glad I did. What absolutely wonderful people and Mom is originally from Brooklyn no less. I even received an explanation from the gentleman owner as to why most of the pizza made in Southern California doesn't take like New York Pizza. These people really know Pizza! last stop in my search for the best pizza in southern california – born and raised in upstate new york-----lived here in southern california since late 70's-----my search has ended, i have finally found the one and only pizza that lives up to "New York Style". The sausage is yummy yummy and the thin crust is my favorite. Ya gotta try it!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE open up a store in San Pedro.
YUM! – This pizza is incredible. It is not too heavy on the cheese, just enough sauce. It tastes fresh and not greasy. The people there are friendly. I've eaten there about ten times and have had a great experience each time. Strongly recommended.
Best Pizza in SoCal! – OK, no joke - this is it! Best NY style pizza in SoCal. I've never been there, I've only had it delivered. Upon moving here I kept noticing the box in my neighbor's trash...(they're all from Brooklyn) so I had to try it. Now there's no going back! Basic Cheese Pie is the best, however I'll have to take a trip there sometime, as I can only imagine how it will taste fresh out of the oven.

Pizza, Pizza – This is a very good pizza. The sausage is excellent. Highly recommend. Don't know about the rest of the food there.
Overrated. – I really wanted to like this place, since I live so close to it. But I didn't. The sauce just doesn't have enough personality. It's too bland. If you are going here anyway, the thin crust is the better option, in my opinion. The thick crust is a whole lotta foccaccia, and it's fairly underwhelming. It's a total bummer, because I dig the location and the employees are really nice. I get a good vibe at Valentino's, but the pizza doesn't deliver.
