*** is the most heinous, despicable and unethical company I have ever dealt with, never rent from any of their properties because there will be nothing but problems, cockroaches, and difficulties in getting your security deposit back, I have encountered all three. I took HTG/**** Trails to civil court for failure to return my security deposit, I won the case in two states, I will collect even if it means filing a writ of execution on the 24th of this month and then a lien on their assets and bank accounts. I applied for apartment was denied that ok but it's been over 45 plus days and haven't gotten my deposit return. I call and also with the promise I will hear within the next day but yet again I had to drive there again to say they will reach out.
These apartments are good but when it comes to anything being fixed that's where the issues lie I am now going on 4 years with a shoddy AC unit, a leak has been confirmed but has yet to be fixed the ******* are brutal! Vynil flooring is peeling up and dented and also has yet to be fixed, and I noticed the paint in one bedroom is deteriorating
HTG is a horrible company, I live in one of their complexes, its full of roaches, urine all over the carpets in the hallways, they turn off the air on the weekend so the hallways are very warm, no one is ever in the office, corporate headquarters never answers their phone and never returns any phone calls and they give your personal contractual rental agreement information to companies that dont require it and should never have it and for me this is a violation of my privacy rights. I've been a Tenant here since May 2019 at the Park Of Wellington located in Pasco County, Florida. I have a 2 bedroom apartment for me and my son. I was homeless before I came here and I found these apartments which was affordable at the time I've moved in, up until July 1st 2021. I've never seen my rent fluctuate over $130.00. I'm a single parent and I'm already struggling and being hit by this pandemic didn't make it no better, but lucky I was able to survive that storm and stay above float to keep my apartment.
