I have rented storage units many times over the last 20 years. The only problem I've ever had is an issue with the unit door not rolling properly and would not close. Their "emergency number" unfortunately is a # that you leave a voicemail and they get back to you when someone is in the office. Fortunately another customer helped me get the door closed. Upon picking up my truck the window was left cracked and the top and the inside of the truck was very dusty. The truck had NO gas in it, the gas light was on. There were at least four trucks the same size sitting out there and I was assigned the truck with the worst tires out of all of them and we are making a very long trip to Missouri.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I rented a pickup truck for 24 hrs at $19 for 24 hrs plus 0.89c a mile. Well, guess what. I followed every instruction and returned the truck perfectly clean and exactly as it was rented. Sunday morning I get hit for an additional $50 charge "cleaning fee." I know it is standard for a business these days to just steal as much as they can get away from, but not this time. Wrong guy to steal from. Filing a lawsuit in Pima County Court tomorrow morning.
