I've seen Dr. Vakil for years and she has always been so very compassionate towards me and my family. My husband and I go to her for routine check-up and she has always addressed all my concerns and sent me for labs that led to diagnosing my thyroid disease. She always ask me what direction I want to go in for my health.

I've been going to her for years, never liked her but it was usually for migraines and she prescribed me what I needed so I wasn't really concerned that she was rude, uncompassionate, and uninterested. Listen to the 1 star reviews. She does make you see her every time you need a refill, she won't fill out paper work, she has no manners, she won't greet you. When the appointment is over you know because she opens the door and leaves. Referrals to go to a specialist are all you'll really get from her so if that's what you want... read more

I’ll give this doctor two stars. While she did give me a referral to an ear specialist and a referral for a dandruff shampoo, nothing was done at her office. It was a quick $30 appointment just to be told to go somewhere else. I understand doctors can’t fix everything at once, but it doesn’t seem like she wanted to. After seeing all the other reviews, I’ll go somewhere else next time I need a regular doctor. Just goes to show that a doctor who’s office is in a house isn’t a promising sign. Thanks for the referrals though.
