Dr Tolia, or someone that he supervises at UCSD emergency department, ordered a medication that was on my known allergy list. After I reported to patient experience, I received a reply saying the medication was discussed and I refused. That is just not true. Any discussion about that medication would have been met with a hard “no” and it would never have been in a syringe being announced by a nurse. Reported to medical board and joint commission for the mistake and the possible falsification of records.
